The role of an ED is a multifaceted one: fundraising, staff recruitment and development, major gift development, Board of Directors dynamics, communication, advocacy and attending countless events just to name a few.  Piper’s professionalism and dedication to a world without type 1 diabetes has been nothing short of amazing.

Piper has been an outstanding leader for us over the last almost 4 years. We thank Piper for her passion and her commitment in building and creating such a strong team. Her tireless dedication to JDRF and the GCP chapter has not gone unnoticed. We have full faith that this strong foundation that Piper has helped lay for us, will continue to grow and thrive as never before.

Our successes have depended on the extraordinary talents and commitment of so many – from the incredible teamwork that Piper frequently prides upon, to the unfailing loyalty from the community we serve and our many supporters. We are pleased to have had such strong leadership in place. Piper will be greatly missed, and her replacement will have big shoes to fill!

Piper, for all your perseverance, authenticity, and hard work, you undoubtedly deserve the best retirement. Enjoy this new journey of your life. Cherish every moment, and have fun!

Respectfully,
The GCP Staff
