One of our very own JDRF teen youth ambassadors, Sara Jacob, was featured on ABC 7 News – WJLA last night on Harris’ Heroes during the 5 pm newscast!

Sara, now 16 years old, has had type 1 diabetes since she was 4. She has participated in 12 JDRF walks to date with her team, Sara’s Soldiers. Together, they have raised more than $200,000 to prevent, treat, and ultimately cure type 1 diabetes.
