URGENT NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS

JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes: The JDRF Walk team is looking to make the 2014 Walk season even better and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Each spring the Chapter hosts three Walks in Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC. **We need face painters, walk route volunteers, set-up and clean-up, etc! We are looking for interested volunteers to help out on our Walk days:

• URGENT NEED (20+ volunteers needed): Northern VA Walk, Sunday, May 18th, 2014 at Ida Lee Park, Leesburg, VA – Please email or call Emily Boynton at eboynton@jdrf.org or (202) 465-4118.
• DC Walk, Sunday, June 1st, 2014 on the National Mall, Washington DC – Contact: Bill Zegowitz, Volunteer Lead, kzeg@aol.com (Ages 18+ only)

**This is an active event at which volunteers may be required to stand for a number of hours and lift boxes and supplies weighing up to thirty pounds.

The Fresh Market Sidewalk Sales on Friday, May 16, Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 from 11am-6pm (3 hour shifts available. Click a link below to sign-up for an available shift and a JDRF Staff Member will contact you with more details.)
